ScholarshipsThe Kappa Sigma Endowment fund awards over $250,000 every year to qualified brothers of the Fraternity who excel in the classroom, on campus, in the community, and within the Fraternity. Organization FactsKappa Sigma was founded in America in 1869 in a small dormitory room at the University of Virginia. The Five Friends and Brothers joined in a bond that would last not just their lifetimes, but for many generations more. Their names were William Grigsby McCormick, Edmund Law Rogers, John Covert Boyd, Frank Courtney Nicodemus, and George Miles Arnold. Kappa Sigma now has over 350 chapters across North America. Chapter FactsThe Mu-Rho Chapter was founded on April 28th, 1984. It originally had 18 brothers, and has steadily grown since then to its present membership of 72.
